Styling products – Dry shampoo vs. Volume maker, which is right for you?

Which product is right for you hair type?

Which product is right for you hair type?

Dry shampoo or a Volume maker… or both, but which is right for you?

We feel it’s only right to recommend the right product for the right purpose. So here is some good advise on these very popular and useful haircare products.

Dry shampoo is a great way to absorb oil and style your hair in between shampoos and a Volume maker is a similar but very different product to give you lift or volume when your hair is dry. We have 4 different Dry shampoo/volume makers in the salon but which is right for you?
SHU UEMURA Volume Maker (.07oz) is a great product for styling and giving your hair volume or lift but isn’t really a dry shampoo.

Kerastae Powder Bluff is an aerosol hair powder and both a dry shampoo and volume maker (4.1oz) and has a nice scent.

Rene Furterer Nutria )3.2oz) is a real Dry Shampoo that is clear (4.3oz) that won’t change the color of your hair and Keratin Complex Dry shampoo is a dry shampoo only and is small enough to travel with. (9gm/1oz).

You have some choices to make so ask a professional before you buy and make sure this professional has used the product before, don’t just buy from some guy at the beauty supply. Get good advise and make a smart purchase.
